Helping parents understand nervous system stress during transition, emotional regulation, co-regulation, family adaptation patterns, supporting teens abroad, balancing cultural identities at home.

MAP Expats was created by Flavia Nazareth, founder of MAP Integrative Therapies and Little Blank Canvas - an award winning Art Studio for children and teens in Nort Carolina USA.
Flavia is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and practiced Law (Family Law then transitioned to Civil & Litigation for big banks and corporations) for over a decade before moving to the USA in 2006.
She decided to change careers in 2013, when she opened her Art Studio and started training as an Art Therapy Practitioner.
After several certifications and trainings, she opened MAP Integrative Therapies in 2023 with the intention to offer mental health support to families, parents, teens, and young adults through an integrative approach informed by:
