Service Description
The MAP Summer Express Coaching for Tweens & Teens is a supportive, engaging group experience designed to help tweens and teens build emotional awareness, self-regulation, and confidence—while feeling understood and connected to peers. This 6-week summer program meets weekly on Tuesdays for live 1-hour Zoom sessions, creating a safe and structured space where teens can learn, reflect, and practice skills alongside others going through similar challenges. Group sessions are especially powerful during the tween and teen years—normalizing experiences, reducing isolation, and strengthening social-emotional learning through shared insight and connection. Using the slower rhythm of summer, this program helps teens reset nervous system patterns, release academic-year stress, and develop tools they can carry into the new school year. Sessions integrate mindfulness, neuroscience-informed coaching, and creative reflection to support emotional regulation, communication, and self-expression in ways that feel accessible and age-appropriate. Participants receive simple reflection worksheets and short videos to reinforce learning between sessions, helping skills stick beyond the group space.
